Richard Stallman dies before he writes the first GNU General Public License, from falling down some stairs. As a result, Lawrence Lessig is unable to come up with the Creative Commons licenses.


What are the likely results?

Obviously, agnother gnu though as to originator I don't k-know w-who (with apologies to Flanders & Swann).

Perhaps we might then have a General Public Licence ?

I spelled License right. Stallman wrote the first GPL in 1989. Lessig wrote the Creative Commons licenses were written in 2002.
