Undecided 2000 US presidential election

Congress may end up voting Bush as POTUS and Lieberman as VPOTUS.

Is it ASB to think that they might actually coexist? Lieberman recently endorsed McCain after all, so I think they might manage to have a semi-decent working relationship.

It might also be an interesting compromise to tone down the anger on both sides.

Odds are they'd eventually hammer out some kind of working relationship, but Lieberman is still going to be on the outside when compared to the position Cheney had OTL.

Wouldn't any VP in such a scenario resign on the other hand?

It's all really a moot point since Gore conceded the 2000 election twice! Once on a phone call to Bush on late election night (which Gore recanted an hour later) then on December 5th.
