Stalin Assassinated in 1940

A story is brewing in my head.

The set up is this...

The Winter War is 6 months long. Nov. 1939 to May 1940. The Soviets decide not for peace but taking Finland. Which they in effect do after those three months of heavy fighting. In the final days Finland sends Simo Hayha to kill Stalin. He never is hit by the bullet so is in fine shape.

The sniper hits Stalin in... say June of 1940.

Now this is all backstory to Stalin being dead in 1940.

What is the result of this man no longer being in power?

So he makes it all the way to Moscow with rifle on the arm?
Anyway let say he makes it. How he knows where Stali will be?
Maybe 1st May parade would be best time. Just how he will hide in Moscow where in every each building NKVD had informant?

Yeah, a Stalin assassinated POD is interesting and fsr from impossible, but it'll be a Soviet pulling the trigger, not a Finn.

Despite who was pulling the trigger, it would be most probably at this point a British-Japanese-Finnish Jew...

The most likely (though still improbable) scenario for a Stalin assassination was given by Stalin himself: "Inside, the long, red-carpeted corridors to and from his Little Corner were attended by an army of sentries. 'See how many of them there are?' he once remarked to a military commander. 'Each time I take this corridor, I think, which one? If this one, he will shoot me in the back, and if it is the one around the corner, he will shoot me in the front'..." Stalin visits the front during the Winter War and Finnish intelligence picks up the fact. They send Simo Hayha behind enemy lines and he infilttatrs the base where Stalin is saying. After sniping the guards with his godly skills, he challenges Stalin to a duel instead of sniping him.........bc of the rule of cool. The fight with the Man of Steel is brutal and pitched(Stalin used to be a thug and bank robber back in the days of the Tsar) but Hayha is able to defeat him and end his reign as Soviet premier. After returning with Stalin's head, the Soviet Union surrenders to Finland and is annexed by the gleeful country after having been pwned by them. Finland then becomes the dominant superpower for the rest of the 20th century.

You realize this is why ASB exists, no?

It could be a disaster for the USSR. Removing Stalin would lead to power struggles at a time when Russia could least afford them. Within a year Barbarossa will be launched and if Soviet forces are in awful disarray...

Is that supposed to be a joke?

GPU does not make jokes and Pravda tells the truth. One might well add a Trotskyite to the list. The identity of the assasin would be secondary to whatever goals the new Soviet leadership would be pursuing.

Is that supposed to be a joke?
The kind of shit Stalin came up with accusing people at the show trials comes to mind, Trotskyite-Zinovievite Leftist Centre Bloc who planned to assassinate Stalin in a hotel that had been demolished 20 years ago would probably be the accusation
