Political WI: American Nazi Party and the Nation of Islam

In 1962 George Lincoln Rockwell, leader of the American Nazi Party, spoke before the Nation of Islam. Some booed the man but the leadership cheered him on, more over articles both from the Nation of Islam, and Rockwell pushed forward the idea that both groups while hating what each other was endorsed the idea of seperate, non-jewish socieites.

WI some kind of formal political alliance was made between these two groups? What would the effect be on the more radical politics of America if ANP and NOI were for the same cause? 1960's saw pushes for integration, and 1970's saw the radical push by both groups, yet consider if you will the views, and effect society would have if such groups attempted to find common cause.

Allying with white racists within the same timeframe as Malcolm X's assassination is really not going to work in the NoI's favor. The American Nazi Party was a fringe group enjoying no notable support from whites; the NoI, by contrast, enjoyed a notable amount of support from blacks. If they ally then both will suffer in terms of both popular support (or lack thereof in the former's case) and internal cohesion.
