1928 Summer Olympics
As the Soviet Union agreed that any support of workers parties and movements, also attempting to exploit class, social, ethnic, racial and religious tensions in other nations, which some saw as immensely dangerous, because of some of the ethnic, racial and religious tensions and movements, to some extent smaller, or larger also existed within the Soviet Union itself. As a result the individual nations targeted, would be keep on an individual bases, depending how the Soviet Union best saw fit to deal with them and to exploit their overall internal division and separations, especially as the overall goal of the Soviet Union was an overall global workers paradise for all. As a result dividing certain nation states, or engulfing them in Civil Wars, even when they were enemies, was not always in the best interest of the Soviet Union and it’s global interest itself, but not all things could be easily controlled and some actions taken were more risky then others. Still if not pushed to far, some of this internal divisions could be exploited to weaken the enemies of the Soviet Union quit well. While in Scotland Glasgow, the first color television is demonstrated by John Logie Baird, a week later in Chillicothe sells the first machine, which can slice and wrap bread. The assassination of the President of Mexico in the northern United States of Mexico, by a local Anarchist Philippe de Castille Gayoso leads to a time of banditry (basically local provincial warlords) taking over a fragmented North Mexican Nation State. The Southern Socialists, Communists and Syndicalist wish to use this weakness to incorporate Mexico in their Nation State and drive out the United States of America, but US Army troops in Northern Mexico mean any such move is a risk of provoking direct war with the United States at the moment. Meanwhile the 1928 Summer Olympics see the first debut of woman in athletics and gymnastics and the Polish discus thrower Halina Konopacka becomes the first female Olympic Gold Medal winner, much to the proud of the threatened and diminished Polish Nation State and Government. With this Olympic Games the American Capitalism in form of Coca-Cola enters Europe as a sponsor and begins to spread faster then ever before, leading some in the Soviet Union to call for a equal Soviet Product as the West needed to competed and outclassed by the East in every potential cultural, social, economical and technological category possible to prove the superiority of the Soviet Union over the United States and Western European Democracies and Monarchies.
