For those unaware there was a football player called Todd Marinovich who was once called the Robo-athlete by Sports Illustrated as he was trained from birth to being a football player. His father promoted a system of pre-natal, neo-natal, childhood, and more which made Todd scouted by colleges his freshman year of highschool.
His father was the first strength and conditioning coach for the NFL, and used Eastern Bloc methods of strength training, alongside diet and more.
Now by 1991 Todd was in the NFL but had a serious drug problem. Like dear lord his drug problem. However for the sake of argument let's say that the game itself is enough to Marinovich. What happens if this man's theories are "proven" to achieve results?
Namely WI it was deemed not only accepted but worth it to have parents encourage children into extreme exercise regimes? WI from 1991 to now the "fad" was extreme physical fitness for children?
