DBWI: Hanson went Pop?

As we approach the 10th anniversary of Hanson, the band that redefined Heavy Metal and Hard Rock for a new generation, I thought I'd post this little doozy of a revelation:

Back in the early 90's when they were still kids they had an a capella thing going, doing Jackson 5 covers, and shit. They even had some local success in Tulsa with this kitschy little thing called "MMM-bop", of all damn things! Can you fucking believe it? The band that did Napalm Sundae?!

Luckily their parents stopped them from touring.

Issac "Sacrifice" Hanson said in an interview it was that "killing of their dreams" that turned the otherwise clean-cut little kids into the rebellious teens that cut "Father's Sacrifice" behind mommy's back.

The rest is, of course history.

So, WI mommy and daddy didn't quash the boy's early chance at pop fame?

OOC: :p
