AHC:Save the Late Han Dynasty

What kind of POD would it take before the death of Emperor Ling in for order for the Later Han Dynasty to not fall at the time it did and butterfly away the resulting warlord and 3 Kingdoms periods?

Main cause of peasant rebellion during the later Han period was famine. There was no way to avoid that. If government had stockpile tons of grain in previous decades, extend of famine could be limited.

There might still be small scale of rebellions, but government could crash them without major problems.

However, government was dominated by empress' relatives. Their main interest was to enrich themselves. One of these relatives had to have great vision and governing skills.

I'm aware the famine, Emperor Ling not caring to govern and leave everything to the 10 eunuchs. If we have an emperor Ling that does bother to govern the country, could we possibly have a longer lasting Han where the emperor is more than just a figurehead.

In that case, Han dynasty could have lasted couple more decades. However, nomad inside and outside of China was a time bomb. It would be just matter of time, before they went full scale of rebellion.

China would still be splitted into north and south dynasties.

Dynasties like Wei, or Jin may not exist, but problem is still there.

Can any sort of Agricultural Revolution take place in Han China? Or does the inherent conservatism of Confucian society prevent this?

It could have happened, if Mohism was the officially endorsed ideology. Part of Mohism focus was on scientific development.

What agricultural revolution? China was/is about as agriculturally productive as you can get before artificial fertilizers, advanced preservation methods and motorized food distribution networks.
