    • I assume this was an American boat? The Russians and British were/are careless about shock mounting. So are the Chinese.

    Was on USS Jacksonville. In 1988 was last first flight 688 that had not had an overhaul. Got to perform shock trials for 688 class. 5 total shots. I can’t find any real information on web so I can’t really talk about what, if any, damage was caused.
