Which country if Russian Revolution fails would become communist ?

Yeah, I had a good idea.

But who leads them? I say Iran or Turkey, maybe Turkey because Iran seems like repeating history too much the same.

Maybe they can survive keeping half or Syria, and maybe a slice a Lebanon. How do we make the influence the Middle Eats after losing in WWI?

I don't know what this Middle Eats is, but to influence the Middle East we should have it side with the Allies. Remember, WWI was not an ideological conflict, there is no good or evil side.

The Ottomans on The Allies in WWI? Hm, cool idea.

How can we have Palestine not communist? I wanna see Israel in a communist Middle East situation.

Socialism was very popular in the US from about Lincolns time right up to the McCarthy witch hunts. Lincoln was pen pals with Marx. The socialist party was huge at the time. It numbered in the millions when Lincoln was voted in.

Not nearly enough. It was never a threat to either major party.

Unlikely, Communism always had limited appeal in the US. Hell, Socialist parties never did particularly well not talking Communist ones. The US was far too stable in the 20th century to fall to Communism.

The U.S. may not have been so stable if it were to be flooded by refugees from a failed pre-WWI communist revolution in Germany.

Proletariat? What? I was thinking the Muslims could be communist due to maybe an anti-Christian attitude.

Being anti-Christian doesn’t automatically make someone a communist. Furthermore, communism in an Islamic country could not be Marx’s communism considering his hostile attitude towards all religion. I doubt that the Moslems would give up their Islam for the sake of being communists.

Well, what I mean is a communist jihadist group per se. Basically them choosing communism for government.

Communism is an economic system, not a political system. Theoretically communism, as Marx envisioned it, could exist in under a democratic government, but human nature being what it is, communism has always come with an authoritarian government.

Like Flaja said, why? Communism rose as a reaction to workers being oppressed by industrial capitalism, and the Middle Eastern countries didn't have that at the time. It doesn't make any sense, it's like you want them to be communist because you'll see them as more evil.

Communism in theory is not evil. But communism in practice is impossible because humans are such greedy creatures, so communism always comes with the evils of state-sponsored oppression.

Without the Russian Revolution, some groups do not get the funding they did, but neither do governments set out on witch hunts to kill them off. A part of the reason the Russian Revolution really worked was that it was the first of its kind, and everyone underestimated the Russians. (Then again the Bolshies did get very lucky, and the timing was just right... etc. etc.)

When I read Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities I got the distinct impression that the French Revolution had definite communist overtones. The way Dickens described the mood of the mobs that flocked around the Guillotines made me think about what Russia in 1917 must have been like.

The problem is, without Russia, there is no successful example of a Communist revolution and then state, just a failed, bloody revolution. So there probably wouldn't be any communist states in the aftermath, but maybe some of the uprisings in post-war Europe still could have happened (WW1). Many nations experienced having rebel Soviets established in their capitals, but of course those were probably inspired by the Russian Revolution. Without that, those Communists might still rebel, but not as successfully IMO.

I for some reason believe an Islamic nation would be the first communist nation.

My Nominations:

1. Egypt and Syria as one state
2. Iran
3.Turkey
4. Libya
5. Iraq

Bright day
You are projecting backwards. In OTL there was this humungous country called USSR which influenced world politics.

Which countries in OTL became communist without Soviet influence? Well Hungary (somewhat, Kun was a bolshevik, but a pre-revolution one), and that regime can be measured in weeks.
