The Official Creation of DC Timeline of Earth-53

Here is a minor DC/Fawcett character who has been "reimagined"...

Asagi "Chip" Matoh (a.k.a. "Nihonto" a.k.a. "Sword") (April 1, 1920-December 24, 1997)- In 1939, Asagi Matoh was considered the ace reporter for Asahi Shinbum in Kyoto, Japan. At the age of 19, he discovered that he had the mysterious ability to slay demons with the sword Kusanagi. Although Kusanagi had been lost at the Battle of Dan-no-ura in 1185 A.D., it is apparent that one of his ancestors was able to obtain the sword and secretly keep it in the family. In 1371 A.D., The Tale of the Heike was used in an effort to perpetuate the myth of the loss of the sword.

For his swordsman ability, Matoh was drafted into the dreaded Kempitei, Japanese Secret Service in 1940. In 1950, Matoh had become an urban legend for his bold attacks against demons. In 1957, he nearly suffered a nervous breakdown in Kyoto, after being attacked by "oni". In 1958, Asagi Matoh cracked down on a nest of demons in the Diet in Tokyo, Japan. By 1961, Matoh had become a national hero of Japan. In 1962, he earned international fame after tracking demons to Chiapas, Mexico; picking up Spanish along the way. In 1966, he learned English after his numerous encounters with American heroes such as Superman a.k.a. Kal-L.

He dropped out of the scene in 1977, due to health problems. He attempted to run a sword-training school in Mikata, Japan, but failed due to financial mismanagement in 1983. In 1997, Asagi "Chip" Matoh died of lung cancer in Setagaya, Tokyo. His funeral was one of the highest rated news events in Japanese history....

Eel O'Bannon
Aka Eel O'Brian, Plastic Man

Often referred to as the "tamer Joker", he is more commonly recognized by his ability to turn his body into any shape he wants, essentially justifying the epitaph "Plastic Man". He is also recognized as a charmer but never crossing the threshold of decency. Both the JSA and the JLA have actively recruited him.

The history behind Eel O'Brian is rather simple. He was a former criminal haunting the alleyways of Keystone City, specializing in breaking & entering. In one of the numerous conflicts between those without powers and those with, Eel was either pushed or given his ability to go "plastic". It is from that point that Eel became the known personality that everyone has accepted.

Unfortunately, due to the escapade involving the JSA and time travel, Eel has reverted to a more "serious" personality, working out of the Daily Planet building in Metropolis as a full time reporter.

Here are a few more characters that show that Anya Savenlovich a.k.a. Green Lantern isn't the only superhero that has come out of the Soviet Union in the DC timeline. Definitely check out:

Boris Mikhail Dhomov(a.k.a. Proletariat)- 14-year Soviet militia member, Boris Mikhail Dhomov was enhanced into a strong, invulnerable super-soldier in 1942, during experiments at the Soviet Academy of Sciences in Moscow. By 1944, he had become a national hero, often brought out to help the morale of troops along the Russian frontline. In 1966, Proletariat was rotated to different "revolutionary fronts in an effort to combat "American imperialism" (e.g. Angola, Vietnam, Ethiopia, et. al.), His aging was retarded and he later retired and in relatively modern times he became an instructor for Spetsnaz training at Promezhitsy, outside of Leningrad. In 1973, a successful propaganda film about Proletariat was distributed in Turkey, Greece, and India. In 1981, he was tranferred to the frontlines in Afghanistan, sparking international attention. In 1991, prior to the death of Premier Mikhail Gorbachev, there was a Hollywood announcement of a film dealing with his life, starring Dolph Lundgren as the hero. In 1994, he helped end the civil war in Yugoslavia, at the behest of the Politburo. In 2006, he has begun experiments with Spetsnaz volunteers, to replicate the formula of his drug, with limited success.

Kristina Alexandrova (a.k.a. Lady Flash)- Kristina Alexandrova was a native of Belgorod, near the Seversky Donets River. She is the youngest of the heroes to come out of the Soviet Union. Alexandrova has the ability to run at speeds similar to Jay Garrick (a.k.a. "Flash I"). She began her career in 1991, helping to prevent a planned coup against the government in Moscow. She apparently has struck a strange friendship with her American counterpart, Lia Nelson (a.k.a. "Flash III"). In 2002, she was even rumored to be dating Leonardo di Caprio. In 2003, she became the darling of the tabloids, as she developed into a Soviet sex symbol. In 2005, it was believed that she had become romantically involved with a small garage band musician by the name of Bart Allen of Manchester, Alabama. This has certainly created some awkward moments between the U.S. and Soviet governments...

Ivan Illyich Gort (a.k.a. "Stalnoivolk" a.k.a. "the Steel Wolf") - the son of railway workers, Gort is one of the staunchest followers of the Soviet political scene. He has been an active enforcer of Soviet policies since 1957. His abilities are to transform his body into a malleable but extremely durable steel. He can also form blades and claws from the surface of his skin. In 1962, he battled against Superman a.k.a. Kal-L during the "Men of Steel" crisis in Stalingrad, Russia. In 1966, the Soviet Politburo called upon his services in Cuba, Nicaragua, and Angola. In 1968, he first battled against the Justice League of America (JLA). In 1975, he battled against the Experience, during an encounter in Managua, Nicaragua. In 1984, he was placed into the training of Boris Mikhail Dhomov(a.k.a. Proletariat). In 1989 he began training Kristina Alexandrova (a.k.a. Lady Flash). In 1992, he was in Kabul, when the Soviet Army declared "major military operations over in Afghanistan". Since 2001, he has been trying to deny rumors that he is homosexual, a punishable crime by Soviet authorities. The fact that the Soviet government has stripped Gort of many privelages seems to warn of a political purge of Soviet metahumans.

Here are some other characters that have been "re-imagined" for your pleasure

Lt. Ace Egan (a.k.a. "Ace of Space") and Captain Richard "Buck" Dare (a.k.a. "Captain X")- In 1940, Egan and Dare, members of the Army Air Corps, were abducted by residents of the planet Almerac by Maxima of Almerac in an effort to find proper "breeding stock" for their warrior caste society in their war against Trigon and his commander Imperiex. Instead, the men escaped in an effort to begin a series of adventures in the quadrant. During their adventures, they traveled to Apokolips, Daxam, the Dominion, Dryad, Durla, Kalanor, Karna, Khundia, New Genesis, Okaara, Psion, Rann, Tamaran, Thanagar, Warworld, and Xudar. In 1944, the team prevented an Earth-Almerac scheme wherein Baroness Paula von Gunther attempted to aid the Nazis, with a massive supply of advanced weaponry in return for "breeding-stock" slaves to be transported via inter-dimensional gates. De'Cine, a cybernetic aide to Maxima of Almerac, attempted to kill the team in 1946. In 1951, the "Chosen People of Almerac" attempted to abduct Superman a.k.a. Kal-L in an effort to use the Kryptonian for breeding stock. The team prevented a similar plot against Earth's population by Maxima of Almerac in 1959, with members of the All-Star Squadron.

Upon their arrival back on Earth, the team's efforts were popularized into a television series on the Dumont Network, 1954-1955. The paid residuals helped pay for a relatively luxurious lifestyle in Beverly Hills, CA. In 1973, the autobiography of Egan abd Dare became a New York Times bestseller. Their adventures also spawned an animated series that was aired on NBC-TV, 1983-1987 plus a 2007 cable TV series on the Sci-Fi Channel. Many have said that their adventures have prevented an initial xenophobia and isolationism through their contact with alien species....

Vicki Vale (a.k.a. "Catwoman" I ) (c.August 16, 1943)- Vicki Vale was born in Gotham City. Always curious, she was always chided by her parents with the line that, "Curiousity killed the cat..." She would go on to channel her curiousity into gymnastics and journalism. At the age of 23, she joined the City Desk of the Gotham City Gazette. She was working on a series of stories that covered police corruption, college bombings, and the shooting of anti-war activists. According to her investigations, Mayor Roland Daggett was at the center of these crimes. After a series of headlines in 1968, Vicki Vale suddenly found herself attacked by henchmen, who promptly through her from the 10th floor of the Gotham City Gazette Building. She was nursed back to health by Dr. Leslie Tompkins in Suicide Slum Alley. After hearing her say, "Considering the fall you took, you must have nine lives..." From that moment on, Vale took on the mantle of the Catwoman. She would take on the mantle, actively fighting crime until 1989.

In 1982, Vicki Vale won a Pulitzer Prize for her reporting against the corruption of Mayor William Borg and his links to crime boss Carl Grissom, tempering her need to combat crime. Ever since 1992, Vicki Vale has been celebrated in Gotham City high socierty for her role in the defense of animal rights. In 2004, she passed on the role to Patience Philips (a.k.a. "Catwoman" II) as an active crusade against corporate corruption led by underworld figure and CEO Laurel Hedare and CEO Max Shreck. For now, Gotham City, has a female defender attacking corruption where it lies, whether in corporate boardroom or in City Hall....

Huntress-

Helena Kyle has an impressive legacy dating back to her grandfather and great-grandfater, Bruce Wayne-Luthor and Ted Grant aka Batman and Wildcat. Selina Kyle, her mother, met Alexzander Wayne-Luthor (Batman(II)) in the spring of 2002, and in nine or so months Helena was born. Not knowning the identity of the father Selina turned to her only living family, her grandfather Ted Grant, to help raise the baby.

As Helena grew up she learned how to box, and the sure tenasity of Wildcat. In 2016 her inhiertance from her father showed up, a portion of the power Blood given to Bruce Wayne Luthor by his foster father. Helena grew more steady in the use of her power and then adopted the mantle of the Huntress.

The Ultra-Marine Corp (I)

After rediscovering Captain Atom (Nathaniel Adam) in 1981, General Wade Eiling would form his first incarnation of the Ultra-Marine Corp. Placing Captain Atom as his field commander, Eiling would surrond him with other soldiers turned superheros. His first recruits were the grandsons of Commander Steel, a WWII hero that underwent volunteery surgery during the war to replace his body with machine equivilents. Nathan Heywood and Henry Heywood III would be given the code names Hawk and Dove as they volunteered to follow in their grandfather's footsteps.

The fourth member of the team was one Airman Beth Chapel, a young medic with a gift for telekensis and supernatural reflexes. Her code name was Eclispe. Their final member was Sand Hawkins, a former pilot with a reputation of being fiercly loyal. Sand's code-name of Morpheus has little to do with his abillity and more to do with his days as a pilot. He's a natural shape-shifter, who takes the form of animals.

A second team would be placed into service when they found Major Force in 1985 and both were disbanded when suspscions within the pentagon nearly linked Eling's pass research with the attempt on Superman's life in 1987.

Gotham City has certainly had its share of heroes in the ATL

Simon Trent (a.k.a the "Grey Ghost") (April 18, 1912-March 14, 1968)- Simon Trent was an acclaimed Broadway and film actor who lived in Gotham City. In 1936, he became its first "mystery man" (at least 2 years before the appearence of Superman a.k.a. Kal-L). The vigilante nature of his operation quickly resulted in his being declared an outlaw himself, and Simon Trent, as he had with any role, decided to play to it. The Grey Ghost became thought of as one of his city's most dangerous criminals, allowing him to walk into suspected racketeers' offices and ply them for information, or even demand a cut of their profits. With his Filipino servant Erwin Palminiano, he would battle crime and aid in patching up his wounds. He would retire from the profession in 1952. Unfortunately, he was gunned down on March 14, 1968, after a series of gangsters recognized him, and shot him on a busy street corner. His identity as Grey Ghost was actually kept secret, until it was revealed by Pauline Kahn, his secretary and apparent love-affair in an tell-all autobiography in 1978.

Dr. Judson Gruener (a.k.a. "the Reaper") (June 4, 1916-December 25,1971)- Gruener was a German Jew from Heidelberg, Germany who was placed in Auschwitz concentration camp run by Colonel Kurt Schloss in 1944. In an effort to conceal the inhumanity of the camps, Gruener was assigned the task of medical officer to the camp occupants. As he watched his entire family and friends killed off, he slowly lost his mind. When the death-camps were finally liberated in 1945, he fled to America, where he decided to start life anew. Unfortunately, the rage he had against "man's inhumaity to man" led to his "war on crime". Gruener wore a large hooded black cloak with heavily armored red leather or cuir bouilli, which prevents bullets and punches from affecting him in any way. The knees and fists of the red leather armor were tipped with spikes that add more power to the blows Gruener inflicted. Gruener also wore a skull shaped mask with hooks on the mouth to cover up the lower part of the face, and red glowing eyes. The Reaper also wielded two scythe-shaped weapons, with various other lethal implements contained in the spiked hafts of both weapons. Soon he would launch a war against Gotham City's underworld, "taking no prisoners". One of his first victims was the fugitive Colonel Kurt Schloss. On June 14, 1956, he was captured by police after entering killing several hitmen and ctiminal underworld bosses. He would retire and die in Suicide Slum of Gotham City in December 25, 1971. He was In 1993, on the 22nd anniversary of his death, his life was made into a movie titled Mask of the Reaper.

Albrecht Krieger (a.k.a. "Captain Nazi" a.k.a. "Quex-Ul")- Krieger is a known and wanted war criminal and fugitive. Besides J'onn J'onzz a.k.a. Martian Manhunter, Krieger was a major reason behind American distrust for Superman a.k.a. Kal-L. According to documents released in 1996, under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), as late in 1944, General George Patton and General Dwight D. Eisenhower were concerned that Krieger was actually a Kryptonian. In 1985, British authorites reported an attempt by Krieger to kill William "Billy" Batson (a.k.a. Captain Marvel) during a rally in Manchester, England. In 1987, Krieger appeared on the world scene, after an attack on the U.S. Air Force base in Stuttgardt, West Germany. In 1991, he attacked Schwedt, Eberswalde, Eisenhüttenstadt, Elsterwerda and Hoyerswerda, East Germany in an effort to spark a "racial holy war". This inevitably drew a violent reaction from Anya Savenlovich (a.k.a. Green Lantern). His subsequent attacks in 1993 in Solingen has sparked a rise in a Neo-Nazism. What is most troubling are reports that the CIA has been secretly backing this movement in an effort to "destabilize" the governments of the Warsaw Pact. The fact that Krieger has been sending videos on a regular basis to CNN-TV, BBC-TV, et al. since 2004 has not helped matters.

His powers are actually derived on two major sources. First, it was discovered in 1986, that Krieger is actually an escaped Phantom Zone resident (a.k.a. "Quex-Ul"), who lost his memory in 1923, when the Order of the Black Zero brought him to our world in Berlin. The second source of his incredible power is the fact that the Order of the Black Zero attempted to use the Kryptonian to serve as a host for the Hyperborean Elder Gods.

Patricia McGoohan (a.k.a. "Tomorrow Woman")- initially created by Professor Anthony Ivo and Professor Thomas O. Morrow, Metropolis University on May 5, 1997, with the express intent and purpose to infiltrate and destroy the Justice League of America. She became a member on December 9, 1997, based on her telekinetic abilities which she claimed were the result of a "mutant 4 lobed brain." Before the plans of Morrow and Ivo could be enacted, Holographic Analytical Reciprocating Digital Computer(HARDAC) had taken over her inital programming. Through her programming, she seduced U.S. Representative Lucas "Snapper" Carr into sacrificing the computer codes for the Justice League Watchtower at Mare Tranquilitas. In 2001, she was seen as the romantic interest of Matthew Tyler (a.k.a. "Hourman"). She was apparently destoyed in a battle with the Injustice League. This was all part of a complex effort to allow HARDAC greater access to other systems. In 2002, she used her skills to infiltrate the staff of the Daily Planet as reporter Shelley Godfrey. In 2003, she infiltrated the White House staff of President Maxwell Lord as advisor Lynne Forbes. Her only major opponent has been Digitally Advanced Villain Emulator (DAVE). Tomorrow Woman is a deadly assassin, who is acting as the harbinger of HARDAC's plan. If that should succeed, it will be dangerous for both humans and metahumans.

The 167ers

The 167th Century's version of the Justice League appeared in 2003, lead by the artificial sun, Solaris. The accident involving the time travel had left them stranded in our century.

Solaris's team would consist of Ultraman (A distant member of the House of El with diminished kryptonian powers, but has new ones in addition to his ansecestors'), Star Sapphire (An Amazonian who had recovered a version of the powerful gem, and powerful bracletts of living metal), Krypto (A Kryptonian Werewolf that escaped from the Phatom Zone, eventually gaining control of his powers and turning them down the hero's path), Alloy ( Doctor William Magnus as Veridium; formerly known as the Alchemist, wielder of the philospher's stone, creator of the Metal Legion), and Umbra (master of of the shadows; desendant of Shade).

Intially they were met with hostility of the world's heros for messing with the time stream, and many were questioning of their heroic intentions.

Professor Lana Lang (a.k.a. "Insect Queen" a.k.a. "Super-Lana" a.k.a. "Superwoman" a.k.a. "Gravity Girl" a.k.a. "Countess Marguerite Isobel Theroux" a.k.a. "Caitiff, the Vampire Queen" a.k.a. "Eradicator")- (April 01, 1950- October 16, 2001) Lana Lang was born in the same town that Superman a.k.a. Clark Kent a.k.a. Kal-L in Smallville, KS. Unfortunately, she would develop a stalker's obssession towards Superman, in the bizarre delusion that they were actually secret lovers. Unfortunately, she also of the belief that it was her lack of natural metahuman powers that prevented a relationship. Using highly toxic chemicals, mystical rituals, and even biological mutagens, she attempted to develop her powers. In 1960, she temporarily developed the semi-Kryptonian powers as "Superwoman". In 1961, she developed the power to control gravity as "Gravity Girl". In 1964, she became supernaturally possessed by the spirit of 16th Century French Witch "Countess Marguerite Isobel Theroux". In 1965, she became "Insect Queen" developing the ability to attract and control insects. When Superman was exiled from humanity starting in 1966, Lang had a schizophrenic break. She was hospitalized at Siegel Asylum in Topeka, KS until 1978. In 1982, she obtained DNA samples from Superman from a public rally in Metropolis. In 1983, she obtained a position at the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO). In 1986, she was temporarily transformed into "Caitiff, the Vampire Queen". Using her encounters as a basis for scientific research, she became a leading expert in biotechnology. She would eventually be appointed the Director of the Department of Extranormal Operations (DEO) in 1998. Using her position, she utilized STAR Labs in an effort to duplicate the powers of superheroes. In 2001, they were able to create an unstable formula which allowed a person to gain Kryptonian levels of power. Unfortunately, President Maxwell Lord was planning to have her investigated for "mismanagement of funds and illegal human experiments..." Fearing that she had nothing to lose, she injected herself with the formula, and launching an attack on the House of El and the Justice League of America (JLA) in a massive battle over Metropolis. The instability of the formula, unfortunately caused her to become unstable physically, and explode at a critical point of battle.

General John Stewart (a.k.a. "Darkstar")- born in Detroit, Michigan, Stewart is an essential leader in interstellar law enforcement. Although he is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps (USMC), he does not hold the rank within the U.S. military, but rather holds its rank and command within the Darkstar Corps.

In 1968, John Stewart enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and was stationed at Khe Sanh during the intiial Tet Offensive. He served 2 tours of duty until the Battle of Ban Dong, Laos in 1971. He was returned home after earning a Purple Heart for "valiantly defending his unit against overwhelming odds in combat..." He was home for no less than 6 months when he was recruited into the Darkstar Corps by Ferrin Colos.

Colos explained to Stewart that a race called the Controllers created the Network for the Establishment and Maintenance of Order (NEMO). NEMO would keep the troubles of the galaxy away from the Controllers' domain. The Controllers did not intend to use NEMO to benefit other races, but it did. Over the millennia the Controllers realized they would have to take a more active stance by attacking chaos at its roots. Despite all the good they did, there were too many NEMO operatives in too many different places. NEMO and the Controllers devised a new plan to ensure order. The Darkstars were created. Darkstars are quipped with an "exo-mantle" suit and a personal space cruiser aimed at enforcing interstellar law.

This has certainly placed Stewart at odds with Anya Savenlovich (a.k.a. Green Lantern), Jong-Ri (a.k.a. Green Lantern), and the Followers of Ion. In 2001, Stewart was granted membership within the Justice League of America. He has recruited Themysciran warrior Donna Troi into the group, and although she is at least 15 years his junior, they are romantically linked.

Swamp Thing (aka Pres. Theodore Roosevelt- deceased)

In the summer of 1917, the former President's yacht was sunk in a summer gale off the coast of Louisiana- his body was never recovered. In fact, it washed hundreds of yards ashore on the crest on the storm's waves and came to rest in a swamp used as a dump by the region's nascent petroleum industry. A freak reaction catalyzed by toxic chemicals and mutant algae caused area swamp flora to become imprinted, albeit very imperfectly, with Roosevelt's memory, personality, and character. Over a period of decades, the flora amalgamated into a single discrete mobile humanoid form. A party of hunters encountered it shambling aimlessly around the swamp and blew it apart with shotguns. It disintegrated, but was "reborn" at the site of its original development some years later with enhanced strength, intelligence, and paranormal abilities. This cycle would repeat itself a number of times, with the rebirth period growing ever shorter and the Elemental's abilities growing more potent.

Currently, the Swamp Thing stands at over ten feet tall, and has about three times the density of teak. Its rebirth period is one year, and this no longer decreases. It is able to exert absolute control over flora of all sorts, causing plants to grow at literally tens of millions of times their normal rate, or to disintegrate almost instantly. It can "ressurect" dead wood from which structures are built or fibres from which garments are made. It is incapable of psychosocial development- for example, it will always view non-Whites as inferiors, Germany as a foe, urban sprawl as a blight, Microsoft as a "Trust," etc. It is, quite simply, a plant doing its level best to be President Theodore Roosevelt finding himself possesed of a wide variety of super-powers in a Louisiana swamp at the dawn of the 21st century.

Billy Batson (a.k.a. "Captain Marvel") / Project SHAZAM- While America had Superman and the Soviet Union had Green Lantern, Great Britain had Captain Marvel. In 1910, Thaddeus Bodog Sivana born under the volcano Orizaba, in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. In 1919, Sivana's family has emigrated to Rio. His father dies, and he aligned himself with the criminal element to protect and provide for himself and his mother. In 1928, Sivana has emigrated to Europe. He begins his research in genetics and met Martin Heidegger and Reich-Chancellor Adolph Hitler, among others. In 1934, Sivana starts working for the Nazis, continued his genetic research and also became involved in rocketry, particularly the V2 Project. In 1941, Sivana realizing the Axis cannot win the war, defected to England.

Billy Batson was born to John and Ellen Batson in Wiltshire, England in 1940. In 1941, Freddy Freeman was born to Major General Sir Ian Freeman, RAF, in Edindburgh, unfortunately, his mother dies in childbirth. Mary Bromfeld Batson would be born in Wiltshire in 1947.

In 1952, Project SHAZAM begins under Sivana. Subjects are to be cloned, with the superhuman artificial bodies placed in infraspace and summonable via a post-hypnotic key word. In 1955, Freddy Freeman (a.k.a. Captain Marvel Jr.) was chosen for Project SHAZAM. Sivana eventually diverted government money and establishes a second, private lab to carry on his cloning and genetic programming experiments. Mary Bromfeld Batson (a.k.a. Marvel Girl), Theodore Adam (a.k.a. Black Adam), and a small rabbit named Hoppy (a.k.a. Marvel Bunny) were chosen. In 1961, the Batson siblings, Theodore Adam and Freddy Freeman prove to be the four most successful guinea-pigs in Project SHAZAM, and thus field tests (a.k.a. "missions") of the four began. In 1963, the Marvel Family was supposedly destroyed by Project BLACK ADAM (as designed by Sivana, essentially an atomic bomb cloaked by holographic projection) in Brighton, England after the British government felt that the experiments of Sivana were "politically inconvenient".

Government records are scant after 1963, but according to county records, Cissie Sommerly and Billy Batson were married in a small town outside of Larksmere, England.

Unfortunately, the survival of the Marvel Family would prove even more inconvenient. In 1982, during a moment of stress during an attempted terrorist takeover of the atomic power station at Larksmere, Billy Batson recalled his key word, and Captain Marvel was reborn. In 1983, Mary Marvel challenged Marvelman in combat. Although she was eventually defeated, she had to be placed into cryogenic freeze in a facility in Wormwood, England by the British Ministry of Defense (MOD). In 1985, Freddy Freeman, in a fit of anger killed the 2,425,630 residents of inner London, and had to be executed by Captain Marvel and the the members of the Justice League of America (JLA). Since that time, Captain Marvel and the Marvel Family has served as a warning to any nation that feels that they can control metahumans with ease....

Hi, Mr. Bondoc. If you can hear me, you must be dreaming. (giggle) I'm Theodore, and you bought my mommy and me and Freddy food when we were begging at the bus stop this morning- thanks! I was so hungry. Funny you're in my dream tonight. I never dream about people I meet, or we wouldn't always be hungry and have to sleep outside. I don't think everybody can make stuff they dream about be real like I can. So anyway when you wake up you'll be covered in hundred-dollar bills. I hope you remember your dream and if you see us again you buy us a lot of food! (giggle)

I dream about my friend Mary Marvel all the time. Why'd you call her Marvel Girl? (giggle) She says you got almost all the rest of it right, though. There's just a few things you messed up on. The first one is OK, because everybody does. There's Mary, and her daddy the Captain, and her uncle Adam, and their bunny Hoppy. Then there's other people: Mary Batson, Billy Batson, and their bunny Hoppy. They aren't the same people. When Mary Batson says, "Shazam," she goes away and Mary Marvel comes. Same with Billy and the Captain. So actually Mary's daddy the Captain only had to kill her brother Junior. Freddy Freeman is OK, but if he says "Shazam" nothing happens anymore. But he still says it a lot. He's with mommy and me, and we'll take care of him. Mary misses Junior, though.

Another thing you messed up on is Shazam. Well, you didn't mess up on it, you just didn't tell it all. (giggle) "Shazam" really was the name of what the English scientists did to Billy and Mary and Freddy and Hoppy. But Shazam is also a man in my dreams. He's a magician, and very old- older than the whole world! Shazam is very, VERY angry with you, Mr. Bondoc. He thinks you're special, and must dream like me or something. Here's the BIG thing you messed up on- Theodore Adam. There was another Theodore Adam, but he died when he was a baby in 1961. There was also a PROJECT: BLACK ADAM, where the English were real, real mean to the Marvel Family. I'm also named Theodore Adam, but I wasn't alive in 1961- I'm only a kid now in 2007. But for sure, the Captain's brother Black Adam has been alive a long, long time. Anyway, the first Theodore Adam never got to say "Shazam," 'cause he died as a baby, so Black Adam has never been here.

Shazam is real mad at me, too. I don't know why. He made me promise to never, EVER say, "Shazam." I crossed my fingers behind my back, though. He wants the Captain to find mommy and Freddy and me, but he doesn't know that I know 'cause I only heard them talk when I was dreaming. I don't think the Captain can find us- there are a lot of poor people begging for food by bus stops. (giggle) You know what I think, Mr. Bondoc? I think that if I say, "Shazam," then I go away where dreams go when you wake up. Black Adam gets to come here. Then Black Adam and the Captain have to fight. The Captain is very, VERY strong. But my friend Mary Marvel really misses Junior, and is super-mad at the Captain for killing him. She'll probably help Black Adam.

Well, I'm waking up now- we slept on a steam grate near Union Station. It was nice to have you in my dream, Mr. Bondoc, and I hope you have fun with all the money you wake up under, even if you never see me and mommy and Freddy again and buy us food. (giggle)

Hey Mr. Bondoc... dare me to say it? Dare me?

Double-dawg dare me? I dare you to dare me...

I double-dawg dare you to double-dawg dare me...

(giggle)

Supernatural Rabbit Scrib- Wow!! And I thought Grant Morrison or Alan Moore was out there...The Swamp Thing profile is just completely strange. The Black Adam monologue sounds like something ripped off from Silence of the Lambs.

Vril Dox a.k.a. "Brainiac" a.k.a. "Doomsday"- Brainiac was a cybernetic organism that was central to the defense and protection of Krypton, prior to its destruction in c.1882. He subsequently disappeared, along with the city of Kandor in 1908 when the planet Krypton was destroyed by a series of geological uphevals. He has been an "intellivore" threat to civilizations since that time, strip-mining worlds for information, and devastating civilizations deemed unworthy. In 1958, he arrived on Earth and began his torment of the House of El. He subsequently abducted the entire populace and cities of Stalingrad, Poseidonis, and Empire City in an effort to obtain a "clear picture" of human culture. In 1979, he began a series of clone experiments against the Super Buddies in an effort to create a new host body. In 1983, with the cities that he had abducted since 1908, began construction of teh artificial world of Warworld. In 1993, he discovered the ultimate means for his survival in the discovery of Doomsday. In 2000, he tormented the energy-based Virgil Hawkins a.k.a. "Static Shock" in Dakota, Illinois. In 2003, using his "granddaughter, he nearly destroyed the Teen Titans in San Francisco, CA. In 2004, he helped aid in the temporary revival of Darkseid of Apokolips. He used the "Worlds at War" aftermath and chaos to secretly obtain the body of Doomsday. With a physical body that is a threat even to Kryptonians, an intellect that is greater than most organic beings, and the resources of an artifical world, Brainiac is a threat to all organic life.

I already have Doomsday as a member of Trigon's Kill-Em-All team, so unless this is after the Worlds at War, that doesn't work....
Don't worry, I have altered the record to reflect the changes. The body of Doomsday is only obtained after the "Worlds at War" saga. In any event, it looks like we have a really cool ATL developing, even with the "Teddy Roosevelt Swamp Thing"...
