Not going to do advertising. Keep writing posts, and make sure you proof-read all of what you write. If you are not sure that you wrote a sentence the way that you intended to write it try reading it aloud. For a lot of people that makes it a lot easier to spot the places where the words did not work. The more you write the better you will write.

Its just the threads I make only have a lot of posts if i'm in a war or its me putting all the time and effort and no one posts a single thing, it's why I am going to probably stop putting polls on major threads I make.

Focus on writing, try to not worry about whether what you write is getting lots of attention. As a writer I want to be read, but I cannot write well if I am paying more attention to how much attention I am getting than I am to how much fun I am having writing.
